Job Description

Working within the Graphic Design section of Marketing this position will leverage our brand standards to produce exceptional creative assets. You will collaborate at times with other creative teams, internal marketing coordinators and digital teams. This role will heavily focus on motion graphic creation targeting social media channels as well as video graphic development for YouTube and other video channels. Applying strategic thinking to deliver best in class creative across all communication channels including social media, print, Salesforce emails, slide design, video and web that focus on our military client lifecycle, Advisor training and business and internal messaging. The ability to conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design problems is key to success. Must be confident working from concept to final production.

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelors degree or equivalent in graphic design, advertising/marketing communications.
· 3-7 years design experience at a top studio or in-house department are necessary.
· Demonstrated proficiency on Macintosh with Adobe Creative Suite.
· Proficiency in video editing software such as Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere or Avid.
· Proficiency in video motion graphic software such as Apple Motion or Adobe After Effects.
· Proficiency in slide design software such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote.
· Demonstrated proficiency creating social media and video graphics, both motion and static.
Familiarity with designing email campaigns in the Salesforce platform or similar.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Leadership experience, overseeing and mentoring other designers
Work in financial services field a plus
