Job Description

An Oil & Gas client of Insight Global is seeking an O365 Migration Architect to join their integrations team to support an ongoing divestiture. This person needs to have hands-on technical experience migrating O365 platforms, doing a tenant-tenant migration. The individual will need a strong understanding of the Microsoft Suite of applications (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, etc.). This person is not necessarily making the design themselves but they will be partnering with the architect on the divesting side to review his designs and plans and understand where there might be holes or errors prior to implementation. They will be working alongside application owners to review and analyze the best method to extract accounts that need to be migrated. They should be familiar with PowerApps and have an in-depth understanding of how these applications communicate with the server and Azure AD. During the migration, everything will be moved into O365 with the only component remaining on prem being Windows-AD. This role will be a 12-month contract with the possibility for conversion to full-time employee or extension. This individual will need to be able to come onsite 5 days a week in Downtown Houston.

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience (5-10 years) as a Migration Engineer, or Architect preferably within the oil and gas industry



Hands-on technical experience migrating O365 Applications - Including reviewing and makin changes to the design of the scope



Experience working with Azure AD and Enterprise Applications



Microsoft Suite (SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, etc) Administration Experience



Previous M&A or Divestiture Experience



Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.



Works effectively and individually with Technical and Non-Technical team members and stakeholders
