Job Description
A Fortune 50 Client is looking for a Senior UX Researcher to come and join their project team as they are in the process of re-writing a large enterprise application for the enterprise. This application/tool has had a few minor enhancements over the years, but it is getting complete makeover in the backend and front end technology and we're looking for a UX Researcher to work with the end user (Engineering and Operations Group and Supply Chain) to perform user interviews, focus groups, build a user journey and persona, and use prior research methodologies to help create a better user interface. There are roughly 50k plus internal users on this application, so it is important for this individual to be confident, skilled in User Research, be self-sufficient to figure out the pain points of the current application, and how to make improvements that would be welcomed by the stakeholders. You will be the only UX Researcher on this project, so it is important that this person be tenured and use their previous experience and research techniques to provide an accurate depiction of the end user. This role is open to remote candidates, however Atlanta or Dallas/Fort Worth would be preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of UX Research experience
-Experience in conducting user survey, focus groups, user interviews, building user journeys and personas, etc. to support objectives of the business
-Ability to explain the value of UX Research to the end client and why it's important regarding creating improvements for their application
-Design and execute a variety of research studies, including user testing, field studies, usability tests, concept tests, group discussions, user-centered design (UCD), A/B testing, rapid prototyping, etc.
-Experienced using Figma for collaboration
-Effective problem-solving ability: come up with creative solutions and consider a variety of alternative solutions for each problem.
-Understanding and interpretation of quantitative & qualitative data to help drive product and design decisions
-Ability to partner with UX/UI designer
-Portfolio demonstrating relative experience
-Ability to work independently and on a team
