An employer is looking for a Digital Analytics Implementation Engineer in the Plano, TX area. Your primary responsibility will be to aid the client with the implementation of Google Analytics 4. You will be working along side a 3rd party implementation vendor and global lead to implement best practices as it pertains to GA4 for web and mobile. You will lead the implementation for the client in tandem with the vendor and oversee this space when they complete the project. You will deploy any 3rd party tags and tracking pixels as needed and collaborate across teams to define and document tracking requirements as they alight with business objectives/ KPIs. You will standardize tracking across multiple properties and perform QA of tracking implementations to ensure accurate data capture and adherence to industry best practices. Additional tasks will include optimizing the current Google universal analytics platform, troubleshooting issues and working with development to ensure seamless integration and create comprehensive documentation, including implementation guides, data dictionaries, and training materials for both technical and non-technical users.
3-5 years experience years of experience in digital analytics implementation
Strong Google Analytics background, specifically with GA4
Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON
Experience with tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager, Tealium, or Adobe Launch
Familiarity with mobile app analytics, including Firebase or other relevant platforms
Google Analytics and/or Google Tag Manager certification.
Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Google Data Studio or Tableau.
Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
