Realpage is a Real Estate/Property Management solutions company, and this is part of the Resident Experience products team.
They are forming an innovation incubator business unit to tackle some major new product development.
This is a new offering that enable residents to have a superior living experience, when they may be moving apartments, etc. This is a very high visibility exciting initiative that is thought to be the next multibillion dollar business unit.
They have a business plan and roadmap and are building a consumer facing workflow that enables the resident experience to be superior.
They will be resurrecting one existing product, and using that as a foundation in order to build this net new set of services.
This Technical Business Analyst/Product Owner will help write requirements, understand dependencies, and will be working in a very fast paced, fluid environment. This team is not subject to stringent rules and documentation, and doesn't follow the Scaled Agile methodology like the rest of the organization does. It's an innovation lab, so they need to move very fast and be comfortable with change of direction.
7+ years Technical Business Analyst/ Product Owner experience
Enterprise/global experience but also a background in start up or similar environment. Someone who has only worked in very structured environments will not be a great fit. Ideal candidate will have worked in start up/innovation team/or have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Technical BA
Work with product managers, take requirements and turn them into technical requirements with engineers.
Take high level requirements turn them into user stories.
Tech stack -- ruby on rails, html/css, react.
TFS -- for tickets and build and release pipelines.
Do not have to write code but be able to do mid level sql analysis -- looking at database tables, data analysis.
Self motivated. Operate independently, run with the team and keep them going.
Work closely with dev leads, qa
EXCELLENT communication and sense of urgency. Direct communication and drives things forward.
Visio
Be able to work in ambiguity.
