Job Description
Insight Global is hiring Process Technician's for a leading Semiconductor company in Austin, Texas. Process technician's focus on data associated with the production of semiconductor wafers to make data driven decisions. They work hand in hand with Process Engineers to make decisions regarding data and the Manufacturing department to ensure manufacturing paths are open and available. Often work with abnormal wafers, tool interruption, and wafer touchups. They determine and identify Cleans defects and create and update SOP's as needed.
Job responsibilities include:
* Process recovery post tool maintenance activity.
* Production lot disposition, including creating/processing touch up recipes for partially processed wafers.
* Recovery from SPC interlocks and Equipment interlock alarms, for both lot quality and tool quality.
* Open Path Management for MFG.
* Candidate will work closely with both Engineering and Manufacturing departments.
* Candidate should exhibit all of the following traits: Customer service, decision making, flexibility, initiative, desire to learn and be able to work in a team environment.
Required Skills & Experience
Basic Qualifications:
* 2+ years technical degree, or equivalent Semiconductor experience.
* Relevant prior experience: Wet Etch, Wet Cleans, or Wets Technicians.
o Prior experience dealing with liquids or gasses to clean wafers.
* Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to procedure changes also required.
* Must have strong communication, teamwork, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Focused on continuous improvement in fast-paced, changing environment.
* High level of initiative and desire to learn.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Associate degree, Trade School Certification, or 4 years in the military in a mechanical MOS.
* Prior Cleans and Cu Electroplating Process experience a plus.
* Cleans process experience on DNS, SEMES, TEL or FSI platforms experience a plus.
* Experience in analyzing SPC charts and trend charts is preferred.
