Job Description

A Fortune 500 client is looking for a SAP Configuration Analyst to own and be responsible for this client's SAP supply chain applications either -- Production Planning (PP), Plant Maintenance (PM), Quality Management (QM), or Materials Management (MM) currently implemented in SAP ERP ECC 6.0. You will be responsible for the configuration, sustainment, maintenance, ticket management, break/fixes, and enhancements of SAP modules. This role will be technical and functional as you will be supporting BAU, operations, production support, and new projects. This client is looking to bring some of their remote service centers on SAP PP so you will be helping with the implementation, in addition to helping manage sustainment efforts for PP and some QM. This client uses Jira for their ticketing system, so you will go through tickets on a regular cadence with the business and prioritize the tickets; in addition, capture the specifications and design solutions to give to the ABAP developers. This role is a cross functional role and will require you to work closely with all factory and production business users, technical team members, and other business stakeholders. This client's business process is highly customized, and the application is specific to aviation/aerospace and defense; onsite collaboration with other team members is vital for the success of all this client's projects. This role does require you to be onsite at least three days a week at this client's location near the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport. This client works a 9/80 schedule, so you will have off every other Friday.

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of working experience in SAP either in PP, MM, QM, or PM in a technical role doing configurations

Ability to log into SAP modules and configure, and provide solutions

Ability to debug, perform break/fix, write technical specifications, maintain, and perform module configuration of SAP PP, QM, MM, or PM

Experience with at least one full cycle SAP implementation in Production Planning/Quality Management/Materials Management/or Plant Maintenance

Knowledge/understanding of SAP S4 HANA

Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment with multiple concurrent assignments

Works and communicates effectively at all organizational levels and across functional areas

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Experience using Jira for ticketing and documentation

Bachelor's Degree is required, Computer Science or Information Systems is strongly preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Working experience in manufacturing or Aerospace & Defense industry

Exposure to S/4 HANA PEO

Integration experience with MES (Visiprise/CAMS)

Experience in SAP global implementation

Experience supporting shop floor technology
