As the company continues to scale, our client is seeking a Head of Strategic Planning & Analysis who will work closely with the CEO to identify and pursue compelling growth opportunities and drive efficiencies across all aspects of the business. This will be a high-impact role that combines quantitative analysis, strategic planning, business management, and leadership of cross-functional initiatives.
The primary responsibility of this role is to act as a force multiplier for the CEO and his senior executive team by managing long-term strategic and operational initiatives, as well as ad hoc projects.
This role requires strong analytical skills; a creative and resourceful approach to problem-solving; the composure to simultaneously manage multiple important projects; the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with senior leadership team; and strengths in building relationships across multiple functions of the organization.
As Head of Strategic Planning & Analysis, you will have the opportunity to develop critical operating processes and reporting, create compelling presentations and analyses spanning across various business functions, and help formulate the company's priorities and strategy.
>Help develop and instill operational processes, practices, and KPIs that drive efficiencies for the CEO, executive team, and organization
>Support CEO in implementing OKR structure to ensure alignment to organizational goals and responsibilities throughout the company
>Implement and drive data-driven strategic initiatives around sales enablement and sales processes, leveraging business analytics to inform strategic direction
>Act as a project leader across multiple functions, representing and working alongside the CEO and executive team to collaboratively push forward strategic and operational initiatives
>Provide guidance to the CEO and executive team as strategic priorities are set
>Regularly submit reports to the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors as requested
Required Skills & Experience
2-5+ years of experience in a Strategy, Business Operations, Business Consulting or Analytics role
Experience working for a business consulting company, private equity, or investment banking focused on operational efficiency and growth (Ex: McKinsey, Gartner, Deloitte, Accenture, Kearney, etc.)
Highly analytical individual who is able to dive into large volumes of data and develop actionable insights for the business and Leadership
Ability to work cross-functionally to build effective relationships, have influence, and collaborate internally and externally at all organizational levels
Comfortable communicating with all levels of Executives including board members and external audiences
Exceptional project management skills with a focus on turning ideas into operational roadmaps and driving results
Bachelor's Degree in a business, analytics, or related field (MBA preferred but not required)

Previous experience working in a consulting role supporting SaaS software company
