This is an opportunity for you to be constantly learning as the Platform expands to provide broader capabilities to our customers, enable customers using a service rather than on premise Microsoft products, and to work in collaboration with multiple Microsoft teams inside of Customer Service & Support (CSS), Engineering and Operations teams.



Support Engineers (SE) serve as frontline technical resources for Microsoft premier, unified, and Azure Rapid Response customers and partners via phone, email, chat or web. They deliver unique value by collaboratively and reactively solving customer problems, providing proactive support advice, contributing to product quality and enhancements and creating self-help assets to broadly reach more customers. You will be part of a team responsible for providing an outstanding technical support experience to our business customers. From problem identification to full resolution, you will own and manage the customer experience over the phone and Web. When needed, you will collaborate with others to engage subject matter experts, Engineering (Product Groups) or Management. Your day to day job will be about providing both technical expertise (either on your own or by involving your colleagues) and about being an excellent communicator and a service oriented professional. You will be given the opportunity to become a subject matter expert in one or more areas and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues. You will be responsible for supporting one or more of the following areas:

Virtual Networks

* Virtual Networks

o Virtual packet mirroring

o Virtual network manager

o DDOS



Hybrid Networking

* Virtual Private Networks (VPN)

* ExpressRoute (MPLS)

* Network Virtual Appliance (NVA)

* Firewall / Firewall Manager

* Virtual WAN or Virtual Router



Layer 7 Networking

* Application Gateway (Proxies)

* Traffic Manager (TM)

* Web Application Firewall (WAF)

* Azure Front Door or CDN



Monitoring & Connectivity

* DNS, Private Link, Private Endpoint

* Software Load balancer

* Network Watcher

* Bastion

* Azure Peering Service

Required Skills & Experience

* 7+ years' experience as a Network Engineer/Administrator or Systems Engineer/Administrator

* 2+ years' experience with Azure or other Public Cloud networking

* Experience with working in/troubleshooting layers 3-7 on the OSI (ex: handing application deployment issues)

* Familiarity with DNS records, network connectivity issues, routing protocols (BGP), VPN, and VLAN

* Strong understanding of virtual networks, hybrid networking, Layer 7 networking or Monitoring & connectivity protocols

* Previous external customer support experience or MSP background, strong ability to troubleshoot issues

* Bilingual in Korean- ability to read, write and speak fluently
