Job Description

Insight Global is looking for 5 Printer Technicians to assist a leading healthcare provider with a printer migration project. This project is expected to last 3 years however, the contract will start out at 1 year. The client is in need of a resource for their Willowbrook, Baytown, Woodlands, and Medical Center locations. During the course of the project, the team will assist in rationalizing to migrate off roughly 2000 non-network printers of the total 8000 printer devices while also providing tier I desktop support. The ideal candidate will respond to a ticketing system in ServiceNow to provide phone, email, and in person technical support as needed to internal and external users. They will also be expected to assist with all printer support including paper jams, toner replacements, paper loading, etc.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as an IT Field Technician

Strong ability to troubleshoot printer issues, configuration/maintenance in all department multi-functional printers, network connections for workstations, and perform root cause analysis

Comfortable using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow

Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and comfortable assisting clients on-site with various PC, docking station, printer, monitor, and internet issues

Experience reimaging Windows machines

Experience with a reporting system

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Technical Certification (Ex. CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), HP Printer Technician Certification, Lexmark Printer Technician Certification, Epson Printer Technician Certification, Brother Printer Technician Certification, Ricoh Printer Technician Certification, Xerox Printer Technician Certification, etc.)

Experience working in a healthcare setting
