Job Description

Responsible --- (BI) and data warehousing (DW) design, development, and maintenance. Need to understand reporting and data analysis requirements, and convert them into technical specifications. They will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying ETL processes to load data from multiple disparate sources into a centralized data warehouse. Design and implement dimensional data models (star schema, snowflake schema, etc.), OLAP cubes, and other data marts as needed. They will write SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), reporting, and data analysis

* Develop custom reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Looker , Cognos, Tableau, Power BI etc. Perform root cause analysis of data issues, and take corrective action to resolve them. Monitor and optimize ETL processes and database performance, making recommendations for improvements where necessary. Responsible for creating and maintaining data-driven applications that help businesses make better decisions. Experienced with various software platforms, including SQL, Python, Java, .NET, etc., to build these applications. Should have a strong understanding of ETL and SQL (Structured Query Language) to create and manage databases

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field

5+ years professional experience as a SQL Developer

Extensive experience creating SSIS Packages

Extensive experience with SSIS Tools

ETL--Should have strong ETL skills

Expertise with SQL, relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL Server), and OLAP cubes

Experience developing ETL processes using SSIS or other tools

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Proficiency in at least one BI tool (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau,Cognos, MicroStrategy)

Certification in a BI tool (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, QlikView, MicroStrategy)

Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)

Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis
