Insight Global is looking for an Engineering/Data Analyst for one of their premier Upstream clients in the Houston area. On a daily basis, this person will be providing data management and analytics to support and work with Engineers and Geologists. They will be working heavily in SQL so should be able to create queries from scratch as well as utilize Spotfire for data visualization. The Data/Engineering Analyst should have excellent written and verbal communication skills as they will occasionally be presenting to their team & leadership. This person will work onsite Tues-Thurs and will be working a 9/80 schedule.
5+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician or Data Analyst
Background working in Oil and Gas
Strong experience in SQL and Spotfire
Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology)
Data Visualization experience
