V&V Systems Engineer

An aerospace client of Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer (V&V) to join their team in the SE Houston, TX area. This person will be responsible for leading the verification and validation of the program, including, Detailed Verification Objectives (DVOs), Validation Objectives, V&V processes, V&V plan, Verification Events, and Verification Closure Notices (VCNs). They will develop additional and new V&V products and processes as the program design life cycle matures, provide support to the development of other SE&I products such as requirements or trace reports, and assess existing verification methods and approaches for the requirements in Gateway or Human Landing System Program documentation. Finally, this person will perform program-to-program system engineering integration by coordinating inputs, resolving issues, and providing support to integration teams.

Bachelor's degree in the engineering field



6+ years of experience in an engineering role



3+ years of experience working with NASA verification system processes.



Experience in system integration



Previous or current experience developing NASA or NASA-related system engineering documentation.



Self-motivated and proactive



Ability to communicate with others independently.

JIRA or DOORS software experience



Hands-on testing or verification experience



NASA flight certification process experience
