Job Description
An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is seeking a Senior Recruiter/ Sourcing specialist to join their team. This individual will be joining the TA team and will be responsible for the full cycle recruitment in their manufacturing space. Primary skillsets include material handlers, machinists, technicians, welders, and engineers. A typical day will include meeting with hiring managers for intake calls, actively sourcing for candidates on job boards (indeed will be provided), pre-screen candidates, scheduling interviews with the hiring manager, debrief/obtain interview feedback from hiring managers, work with HR team around offers, generate offer letters, and initiate onboarding.
-Identify and implement recruiting strategies, including direct advertising, job boards, job fairs, unemployment offices, website career page, and social media.
-Provide a full range of recruitment and selection support to the management team to achieve best hiring results that deliver business strategies and goals.
-Must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience meeting benchmarks, metrics and understand how to prioritize to meet all customer expectations.
-Manage candidates through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by reviewing resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
-Conducting first and/or second level interviews for positions.
-Leverage existing professional networks and social media to provide proactive sourcing of candidates.
-Demonstrated experience with recruiting passive candidates
-Provide an efficient and high-touch experience for every candidate throughout the process.
- Ability to negotiate offers to close candidates by leveraging your experience with competing for top talent.
Required Skills & Experience
-2+ years of experience sourcing hourly manufacturing talent
-End to End ownership of recruiting cycles
-Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively

- Engineering or Manufacturing experience
-ATS experience
