An employer in the Sugar Land, Texas area is looking for a remote Service Desk Technician. This person is going to work 100% remote and will join a team of technicians to help answer inbound calls and resolve basic issues. They will be receiving calls from students, parents, teachers, and others needing assistance within the district. Calls that they receive will be anywhere from IT issues (hardware and software), updating PC drivers, system access, printer installs, password resets, etc. If they are not able to resolve an issue they will be able to escalate to the proper point of contact.
1-3 years of experience in a customer facing help desk or service desk role
Experience providing 100% fully remote technical support
Ability to troubleshoot basic IT problems such as basic back-to-school troubleshooting (password resets, system access, printer installs, etc.)
Exceptional customer service background
Good quality wifi
