nsight Global seeking network security administrators to join our an enterprise energy solutions client in San Antonio, TX . The ideal candidate will be responsible for working assigned ticket queue and responding to customer request for firewall rule updates, proxy changes, and troubleshooting the network through TCP/Ip Stack, routing, port and services. 80% of the day will be focused on ServiceNow incoming tickets that are handled by the team with a average volume of 20-25 daily for the team to execute, while the remainder of the day will be administrative tasks focused on understanding the environment.
* 2+ years experience with firewall, web proxy, and email gateway system administration
* Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Remedy
* Experienced IT support role collaborating and communicating with other departments and business users
* Networking experience with the TCP/IP stack, routing, ports and services
* Technical troubleshooting skills
* Experience with distributed and cloud computing environments
* Proficient in Customer Service skills and communication to end user
* Education completed in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
* Security or Networking Certifications
* Cisco Routing and Switching experience
