* Our client, an 8A Alaskan Native Government Contractor, is looking to hire a Deputy Operations Manager on to their team. This person will work in tandem with the Operations Manager and Supervisors to oversee a large team of facilities technicians to complete electrical, HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, utilities, and carpentry maintenance related tasks. This position is onsite 5 days/ week at Laughlin AFB. Primary responsibilities are below:
o Works under the Operation Manager and in conjunction with department and shop managers to develop, implement, and manage programs and plans.
o Helps assesses effectiveness of the preventive maintenance/recurring work program and identifies avenues for improvement.
o Serves as the alternate for the Operations Manager in his absence.
o Assign and track work orders
o Schedule preventative maintenance
o Provide weekly reporting to government officials on pm list, future maintenance task, and budget
* 10+ years experience in multi-trade facilities maintenance management
* Bachelors degree
* Facilities management on an Air Force or Military Base
