An employer in the Galleria area of Houston, Texas is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the International IT Delivery Team to oversee the program and coordinate the delivery of multiple Application and Infrastructure projects. On a daily basis, this person will be responsible for the project delivery oversight including scope management, schedule management, risk & issue management, budget management and status reporting. He/She will also be responsible for deliverables accountability including required SPMF deliverables, manage project governance & communication, manage & facilitate project delivery process peer SPMF guidelines and report on the project impediments. They will create and maintain project plan for specific initiatives, prioritize and sequence the activities in accordance with business value develop and execute project communication focused on increasing awareness and adoption, and engage with key program stakeholders within the business, customers and leadership. Lastly, this person must be OK working onsite 3 days a week and be comfortable with a fluid schedule as the HQ is based out of Australia.
5-10 years of experience in IT project planning/project management with increasing levels of project complexity and responsibility (app dev and infra).
Experience in project financial management.
Effective with stakeholder engagement and communications.
Experienced with MS Project. PMP certification.
