My Client in the the San Antonio, TX area is hiring for a Remote SQL Developer to join their team in support of their data efforts within the healthcare space. This individual will be working independently on an ongoing migration project that involves migrating from Microsoft Server 2014 to Microsoft Server 2019. The SQL Developer will be building SSIS packages and configuring already developed SSIS packages and analyzing what the errors are and then enhancing their quality and then deploying them to the Server. It is important for this individual to have a strong understanding of SSIS packages and ETL Development in order to work remotely and independently. This is a one round interview and will be expected to elaborate on the FULL process of ETL and SSIS.
- At Least 3 years of experience in a SQL Development role
- experience with Server migration
- Script upgrades and recompiled
- able to look at SSIS packages and analyze errors, improve codes, then deploy to server
- 2+ year of experience using SSIS/SSRS for automated data imports and hands-on report/parameter creation.
- need to be able to build SSIS packages from scratch AND work on existing packages
- 2+ years experience in ETL Development
- Experience creating stored procedures and views within SQL in a work environment
- Experience working with Microsoft Server 2012 or newer
- .NET experience- C# or VB.NET, preferred
- Experience utilizing Healthcare Information Systems and Databases
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or any related field
