Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager for a leading healthcare client to help with the implementation of EPIC for Emergency Room Departments. This PM should have prior EPIC implementation experience, specifically with the ASAP Module. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills, an ability to work with multiple stakeholders and lead large, cross-functional teams. This role will be 100% remote but must work CST Hours.
The Health Care applications & Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for managing ongoing strategic IT projects for Information Services. This position reports within a formalized Program Management Office (PMO) focused on the timely, high quality delivery of strategic, IT-related initiatives that directly support patient care. This person will work with senior leadership, key physicians, and stakeholders throughout the organization and must have strong interpersonal and communications skills. Daily responsibilities will include:
1. Leads large, cross-functional project teams using the organization's project management tools and methodology standards.
2. Develops and manages core project management deliverables including detailed project schedules, resource plans, risk management plans, change control processes, issue logs and communication plans.
3. Communicates clear and concise status reporting for executive management and other key project stakeholders, including direct communications with project sponsors and steering committees.
4. Provides strong problem solving and collaboration skills to detect opportunities and challenges early, then collaborate with teams and individuals to identify and implement effective action plans.
5. Escalates critical issues, changes, problems or delays to the project sponsor and executive management.
6. Ensures assigned projects are completed on time, within budget and to mutually agreed-upon customer specifications.
7. Provides coaching and mentoring to junior or peer project managers on tools, methodology and best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience working with healthcare EHRs (Epic preferred)
* Experience with implementations of Emergency Departments, specifically Epic ASAP Module
* Work well with other vendors and third party project managers.
* Experience supporting healthcare projects and/or software packages required.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and PMP Certification

* Service Now application experience
* User of Project Management Tools (e.g., PlanView, SharePoint) and MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Visio).
