A large financial services client is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join their team in Westlake, TX. As a Java Full Stack Engineer you will, work to build cloud-based applications to modernize legacy software that runs their operations and support the transformation of the workflows to a modern BPM platform. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who actively challenges the status-quo with an opportunity to mentor junior developers. This role will function 5 times per month onsite in our clients Westlake, TX campus.
* 7+ years software engineering development experience
* 5+ years of hands on engineering experience in Java, J2EE stack
* Hands one experience working in Spring/Spring Boot
* Cloud experience in Azure or AWS
* Proven experience in SQL, Maven or Ant, Git and test driven development (TDD)
* 2+ years hands on work in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban)
* Proven experience working in Angular 10.8+
* Hands-on experience with the API Design & Development and Micro Services Architecture
* Experience with DevOps, continuous integration and delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven and Docker
* Knowledge of messaging technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, SNS, SQS)
* Strong understanding of public cloud platforms; Primarily AWS/Azure and containerization technology like Docker
Experience with financial services in an operations or technology role is a plus
