IBM AS/400 Systems day to day system support - user security / role management
Manage print queue and printer management
Maintain LPAR's (logically partitioned) AS/400's and HMC's (Hardware Management Console)
JDE E1 CNC administration - software updates, package builds, ESU deployments & system maintenance
Administering and configuring JDE E1 Java - Oracle Weblogic Server
Implement the internal and external auditing requirements
Development, Test, and UAT environments refresh
JDE System patch management to stay abreast of new JDE releases and applications.
Work directly with development staff to troubleshoot application issues and project management of upgrade
Participate in system upgrades by assisting in planning and testing system upgrades
Designing and implementing redundant systems, policies, and procedures for backups, DR and data archiving
Developing and administering strategies for control and sharing of company database resources & services. This will also include performing database transaction & security audits as well as change control
5+ years of experience as an AS400/JDE DBA or similar role
Minimum one full upgrade lifecycle experience. iSeries AS400 to Oracle JDE E1 systems.
2+ years of experience managing iSeries IBM AS/400 systems support and DB2 database administration.
3+ years of experience years managing JDE EnterpriseOne CNC administration.
Proficient in administering and configuring JDE E1 Java web server and clusters.
Strong knowledge of the Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne architecture - deployment server, enterprise server, application server, JAS server, portal.
