The Sr. Director, Product role is responsible for product strategy, planning and execution of Ascension's digital products. The Sr. Director manages the technology lifecycle of products, features and/or enhancements from conceptualization, requirements gathering, product specification, implementation review, and release. They also manage the product development process by translating user testing and feedback into feature/function requirements.
Experience managing a team of product managers. Experience hiring and developing high performing talent.
Experience in ecommerce related roles (example: shopping funnels, conversion funnels, perishable inventory (airline seats/hotel rooms)
Experience with shopping and booking products, web and mobile applications
Experience creating create clear, concise product briefs and PRDs supported by market research, field input, user research and product data.
Experience with cross-team dynamics to ensure the entire team is successful, proactively instituting process improvements across your team, e.g., review and provide feedback on roadmaps, strategic plans and feature specs.
Experience managing the profit, loss and budget while continuously evaluating the product portfolio and associate product lines through analytics and reporting.
Drive culture of ongoing optimization based on insights and A/B testing. Use data and design experiments to inform recommendations and decisions.
