Insight Global is seeking a Car Wash Category Manager for an Oil and Gas company specializing in Retail Convenience Stores and Car Wash and Car Care Categories. The successful candidate will own the responsibility of managing the Car Wash and Car Care categories within the Convenience Retailing Business, enabling profitable growth of these categories, and delivering financial goals and aspirations on an annual basis. The role requires a top performing self-directed professional who possesses strong business acumen with prior experience managing and growing car wash sales. Develops long term category strategies and business plans and designs relevant marketing programs to ensure leading edge in terms of innovation and customer value proposition leading to categories year on year integrated income growth (organic and ) in sales, margin, and supplier revenue. Develop and implement a tiered car wash offer consisting of high-volume tunnels and rollovers. Responsible for identifying, establishing, and developing key business cases and detailed P&L impact in support of recommended growth opportunities, especially for Car Wash business (increase revenue and / or reduce costs.) Collaborates closely with key stakeholders to leverage learnings and deliver robust strategic and tactical plans that drive profitable growth for the portfolio - Works closely with other Category Managers and Sales and Operations organization particularly District managers and Territory Managers. Manages vendor relationships and negotiates with third party suppliers of car care convenience products to the stores.
3+ years of experience as a category manager within the car wash care category
Experience with the innovation of car washes, rebuilds, placement, and consumer trends
Vendor management, relationship building, negotiation experience
