Job Description
A large, Fortune 50 client is looking for a Traveling Field Technician to join their team. This person will be responsible for commuting to AT&T store locations across the Houston metroplex to help support onsite technical issues. This may include troubleshooting for Windows OS, Networking, POS, Wi-Fi outages, ATM machines, personal computers, A/V equipment, or security systems. The ideal candidate must possess a strong ability to determine root cause analysis and follow a detailed, step by step troubleshooting process. Commute time per day can be anywhere from 20 minutes up to 3 hours depending on the store locations. Candidates must also be self-sufficient and be able to manage their own schedule and time throughout the day with little to no supervision. The company will provide a fleet vehicle for transportation and a corporate card for expenses such as gas, etc.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years' experience in a traveling Field Tech role
* Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software related issues including but not limited to -- Wi-Fi outages, POS systems, ATM machines, laptops, network connectivity, security systems, A/V equipment, etc.
* Experience working in an enterprise level environment in previous roles.
* Strong communication skills, ability to work well within a team, and passion for helping customers.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* CCNA, A+ or other certifications
* Military background
* Prior experience within Telecom Industry
