Job Description

A healthcare company in the Medical Center of Houston is looking for a 100% remote Epic Training Environmental Build Specialist. This person will be in charge of a brand new project for educational assistance to provide a training environment to support 3 different schools - SBMI Informatics, Cizik School of Nursing , and the Medical School. This employee will be responsible for the ongoing design, development, testing, implementation, and support of these training tools associated with the health care system used in their medical schools and clinics. They will be responsible for creating and maintaining course curriculums and supporting training collateral, including classroom and web-based content, the build of training data within the training environments, and executing the train-the-trainer program for credentialed trainers. This role will partner with their medical schools where often a doctor or professor will deliver Epic training, but use a test or training environment to complete this task. They will not be asked to lead training, unless it is simply here and there to assist with coverage of the training team. This person's main focus will be on the technical aspects of the environments.

Required Skills & Experience

2+ year's of experience working in an Epic environment

Qualified to lead high level meetings and interact with Physicians

Past experience working within an Ambulatory or Inpatient healthcare setting

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Epic Build Certification (TED300)

Experience building curriculum and training courses within healthcare
