This position will be a part of the continual services improvement team for one of the leading broadband communications services. This team is responsible for identifying process improvements for automation, upgrades and migrations across the organization. The team is comprised of 6 backend engineers and 2 database engineers focused on automation, and is looking for a developer to own more frontend responsibilities. As a Front End developer on this team you will be the responsible for working with the team and Development Manager on leading and implementing best practices regarding JavaScript development. The Developer will be responsible for owning the front end on the team but needs Django skills to utilize on various projects. You will be tasked with collaborating not only with members of this team but other teams throughout the organization and company, so strong communication skills are required.
-7+ years of Frontend Development experience with JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS
-Ability to create, maintain, and develop API's
-jQuery
-Exposure with Django
Willingness to pick up their equipment from one of the following locations: Austin (TX), Charlotte (NC), Tampa (FL), Orlando (FL), Louisville (KY) (Possibly: Cerritos, CA, New York, NY, or Denver CO)
