Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Security Assistant in the San Antonio, TX area to support the Security department within the corporate office across several companies and various agency contracts. Daily, Industrial Security Specialist will
* Manage applications for the FCL, assist in maintenance of e-FCL profile, and submit change condition packages and profile updates.
* Receive, collect supporting data, and assist with submission, processing, and follow through of incident reports, and correspondence into the appropriate file/system.
* Assist government agencies with onboarding and offboarding of supporting contractor personnel.
* Coordinate within the Security Department to accurately track all training and briefing requirements for employee suitability status in accordance with contract and position requirements to properly determine, grant, and maintain access.
* Process visits requests for personnel, visits to outside agencies and visitations from other organizations, to include recurring visit requests in support of multiple contracts across several companies for life cycle of contract.
* Conduct semi-annual self-inspections, update inspections and checklists for review by the Facility Security Officer and support quarterly security wellness reviews alongside the Facility Security Officer.
* Draft form DD254, source supplement Security Classification Guides and policies, and maintain active working knowledge of systems of record and processing.
* Properly safeguard Privacy Act Protected Information, Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and Unclassified/Classified National Security Information.
* Effectively communicate with employees, hiring managers, and other internal supporting departments, as well as external government agency personnel in support of background checks, inquiries, report generation, contract language and documentation, and maintenance of training and briefing records.
Required Skills & Experience
* Top Secret Clearance
* 2+ years working within an industrial Security environment within a government contracting organization or directly with the government
* 2+ years working-level experience in managing personnel security IT systems and/or interpreting local personnel security agency checks, investigation status, and adjudications; processing and generating DD254.
* Knowledge and working experience utilizing the following tools: DISS/NBIS, NCAISS, NISS, NP2 Portal, ACCS, SPOT, SWFT, fingerprinting services
