Job Description
The Search Team is responsible for SEO for all TI content globally crossing multiple regions, languages, content types, product types, and objectives. This requires a high level of technical SEO expertise, analytic ability, communication skills, and a clear understanding of how organic search affects revenue & customer engagement.
SEO is a little different at Texas Instruments because the standard rules rarely apply. Basic best practices often have to be customized to fit TI's unique position in the search marketplace. This role is an integral part of a small team of experts where each team member is involved in developing that customized SEO strategy & setting priorities globally.
This role is a mix of high-level strategy & analysis and on-the-ground, in-the-weeds effort. You'll identify the problem, research & provide the solution, and work with partners on the Search Team & beyond to implement & optimize.

* Apply SEO strategies to the entire design & purchase cycle across languages & regions
* Affect content ranging from semiconductor-specific product information & technical documentation to ecommerce pages & support forums
* Partner across the company with IT, sales, corporate communications, university marketing, education technology, and other groups as SEO is needed to support TI's overall objectives
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Manage ongoing audits of the sites, identify problems & growth opportunities, and monitor impact at scale of changes made across digital properties
* Provide thought leadership on emerging web technologies for SEO opportunities, articulate the potential impact, and deliver development-ready requirements
* Leverage available tool set to conduct recurring & detailed technical SEO audits related to performance, site architecture, indexation, crawling and rendering to identify actionable improvements
* Assess large-scale, high-profile projects for SEO impact and provide actionable feedback
* Research, develop, and help drive large-scale solutions with test-and-learn opportunities
* Translate algorithmic changes and evolving search trends into optimization strategies
* Produce simple & direct explanations of complex SEO issues & challenges
* Provide an SEO perspective & ensure SEO considerations are accounted for in multi-functional initiatives
* Manage & monitor multiple webmaster tools across search engines globally
* Analyze log files, crawl data, engagement metrics, and other available data to identify critical issues and develop solutions in a timely manner
* Monitor SERP & industry competitors to identify optimizations that can provide competitive advantage
Analyze trends across the SEO industry to see broader risks and opportunities, incorporating findings into long-term strategy and ongoing communications
Required Skills & Experience
* High school diploma or GED
* 8 years proven experience successfully developing technical SEO solutions for large, multi-national enterprise sites optimizing various content types against multiple objectives
* Data-driven decision making that balances qualitative & quantitative data with experience & expertise
* Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive must be able to identify and analyze root cause and provide clear, implementation-ready recommendations
* Critical & creative thinker able to prioritize appropriately by understanding the balance of value
* Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders and technical resources
* Ability to leverage advanced workflows for identifying opportunities at scale (ex: APIs, SQL, Python, advanced Excel)
* Expert-level familiarity with SEO, site performance, and analytics tools
Proficiency in Schema.org, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, status codes, and a thorough understanding of Google's web standards
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Highly analytical with a thorough understanding of the most technical aspects of SEO
* Experience with international SEO optimizing multi-language sites for both Google & Baidu, as well as smaller domestic & regional search engines
* Experience building strategic and tactical plans based on significant amounts of data from disparate sources to achieve multiple objectives
Initiative to resolve issues efficiently & effectively while seeking opportunities to improve processes
