Job Description

We are seeking a long-term REMOTE Scrum Master / Project Manager (through end of 2023 with extensions or FTE conversion possible) to help lead the agile transformation and manage several agile scrum teams with some external waterfall aspects. Work with the Midstream Agile Coaching program, coaching teams, foster a Lean-Agile mindset using various organizational change management frameworks.

Align Agile strategy across teams.

Participate in the Performance Excellence team COE.

Actively lead the change by modeling desired behaviors and guiding business to a new way of working.

Participate as an active member of the Midstream Transformation team, to build strategic alignment.

Effectively communicate agile principles, scrum practices, and overall operating model across the organization.

Keep an objective perspective on issues and troubleshoots by applying agile principles.

Champion the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams.

Conduct periodic program health assessments and establish growth and coaching plans.

Educate and coach others in agile practices to ensure adoption of best practices from top-down.

Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching.

Support teams in determining resource allocation to maintain agile practices and ensure smooth project delivery.

Support the transformation from project to product management concepts.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years Scrum Master / Project Management experience

Extensive Agile knowledge as well as waterfall methodology proficiency

Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.

Practical in approach to decision making and problem-solving that is principle-based.

Consultation and project management skills.

Exposure and understanding of existing and new and emerging technologies.

Solid understanding of Scrum, Waterfall and Kanban.

Applied knowledge of agile software development.
