An employer in Austin, TX is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their CSMG (Common Solutions Manufacturing Group) team. They will be helping with a project standardizing OMS (Operation Method Sheets) documents, improving build documentation efficiency. They will be working with Manufacturing Engineers, Illustrators, and technicians to develop optimal operation sequences for parts and assemblies. Developing and implementing tools to track the effectivity of new operational sequence through objective and subjective measurements. They will need to Identify key areas for product improvements and coordinates with other engineering functions to implement changes through redlining designs. Work closely with manufacturing operations management to prioritize areas for OMS improvements. Interfaces with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and/or new products.
