Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Technology & Innovation IT Project Manager to work on the IT Application Rationalization track within a larger Merger & Acquisition project for one of the largest global chemical and specialty materials company. The project manager will oversee the application rationalization activities for their respective area (Manufacturing or T&I). They will be organizing the migration (= lift and shift), standardization (= replacement with the company's standard), or retirement of the M&A applications. As part of this work, they oversee multiple subprojects and support cutover activities for various sites. The project manager will report directly into the Application Rationalization Track lead of the M&A project, with a dotted line report to the IT PMO Team Lead.

Responsibilities

In their respective area, the Project Manager is responsible for:

* Manage the day-to-day tasks of a set of projects following the Project Management Framework, including, but not limited to

o Project Scope and Requirements

o Project Timeline; including task, predecessors, duration, and assignees (Gantt chart)

o Resource plans

o Risk, Actions, Issues, Dependencies (RAID) Log

o Performance to Timeline & Deliverables

o Performance to Budgeted/Projected Cost (Actual vs Budget vs Projected) and synergies

o Identification & Escalation of Timeline and/or Cost Risks

o Recommended Corrective Measures, where needed



* Key Focus Items

o Facilitate the Application Disposition Decision process toward completion

o Establish Application Disposition Framework

o Data Extract Requirements Planning

o Data Entanglement Dependencies Planning

o Hosting Requirements Planning

o Licensing & Support Agreement Planning

o One-time/Perpetual Cost Analysis

o Facilitate Implementation Partners Selection and oversee, where required



* Build trust and use soft skills to provide direction, achieve consensus and manage team morale and conflic! t among the project team.



* Provide project status updates to key stakeholders and keep the project documentation current

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience as a Project Manager

Demonstrated strong experience driving Application Rationalization initiatives preferably for a Merger and Acquisition

Bachelor degree and/or PMP certification (desired but not needed)

Strong background and knowledge of Project Management principles, practices, processes, tools, and techniques

Ability to understand technical/IT concepts and to address inter-dependencies, risk, and issues

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skills

3-5(+) years of experience with project related applications, collaborations and ITBM platforms, and ERP systems (preferable MS Office suite, SAP, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, MS Teams).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives and/or multi-site international deployments while leading cross functional, culturally diverse project teams preferred
