A healthcare company in the Medical Center of Houston is looking for a remote Software Architect to join their team. This person person will be responsible for application architecture and system integrity. They will collaborate with PM's and leaders to coordinate application design, development, and support activities to comply with the architectural plan. The Software Architect is responsible for the creation and management of
workflows, application security, testing, installation processes, reviewing and roadmaping assigned applications/upgrades, and ensuring timely and expert decision making for systems as it aligns with organizational goals. Responsible for setting software development standards across the applicable programming languages, testing, application security, SQL development, and merging development and operations.
8+ years of progressive IT application development experience
6+ years of expertise in web applications
Experience with Microsoft ASP.NET platform and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with SQL server, including development of complex queries (for updates) and stored procedures
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's Degree
