Job Description
A Fortune 500 Utilities and Natural Gas company is seeking an Oracle Fusion Developer to join their team in Downtown, Houston TX. This person will be primarily responsible for developing apps, setting up domains, and integrating functionality within the Fusion platform to support a variety of existing middleware applications. On a daily basis, the Oracle Fusion Developer will develop and enhance existing applications within Oracle Fusion, including OSB, B2B, SOA, and Java applications, and will also be involved in some project work. This person will interface with clients at all organizational levels to take business requirements and deliver technical work, and will be required to work onsite Tuesday -- Thursday, with option to work remotely Mondays and Fridays.
Required Skills & Experience
2+ years of Oracle application development experience, specifically within the Fusion platform
Experience developing and enhancing Oracle middleware applications including: OSB (Oracle Service Bus), SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), Java, and B2B (Business to Business)
Experience working on OS such as Linux and Windows
Understanding of Oracle database integration with Fusion platform
Excellent communication as this person will be helping to lead projects as well as day to day development
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge on Java Application servers like Oracle WebLogic, Apache or IBM WebSphere
Understanding of Cloud Computing
Training or Certification on Java Application servers, Cloud Solutions, or Oracle PL/SQL Language
Utility Industry knowledge
