An employer in the downtown, Houston area is looking to bring on an Engineering Technician. This person would be working closely with the Reservoir Engineers. The engineering techs primary responsibility would be managing reserves. Daily this person will be responsible for maintaining and updating the PHDWin Database/ troubleshooting any issues, running PHDWin reports and building queries/ pivot tables/ Vlookups in Excel, assisting with economic evaluations, AFE processing, building type curves and reserves estimations. Additionally, this person will be gathering, compiling and analyzing technical data from internal and external sources (carte, WellView, Drilling Info, IHS/Energeq, TRRC). Finally, this person must be able to link databases in Spotfire and create templates for production analysis.
