Job Description
An enterprise level natural gas and utilities provider is seeking a .NET Developer to work onsite 3 days/week in the Downtown, Houston TX area. This person would be joining the IT organization's middleware integration team, and will be providing application development support for a variety of applications including a transaction management application for their electric business. This person would be working in an Agile environment on a 3 week sprint cycle, and would primarily be focused on application enhancement activities for applications versus new application development. This role is 3 days/week onsite in Downtown, Houston with the option to work remotely Mondays and Fridays.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years of Full Stack C#.NET development experience, specifically within web app development
Experience with end to end development: front-end, middle, and back-end database development
Experience working with web services such as: SOAP, REST, or XML
Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)
Oracle OR SQL database experience - Oracle highly preferred
Experience working with Agile methodology
Desired Skills
IBM Cloud or Azure experience
1+ year of Blazor or HTML5 development as web development tools
Utility industry knowledge
