Aircraft Technician - Hydraulics

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Aircraft Technician for the hydraulics team in the Clear Lake City, TX area. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting the hydraulics equipment, identifying the problem, removing it from the aircraft, taking apart, repairing, reassembling, and reinstalling it. They will be responsible for malfunctions, service bleeds, bench checks, rigs, and performing adjustments.

5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience



High School Diploma or equivalent



Experience as a hydraulics technician (teardown, build-up & testing)



Experience working in a hydraulic systems component back shop role



Experience supporting a NASA, DoD, or Military program



Ability to climb on top and down the aircraft, lift 25 lbs, be on feet all day, and walk up to 2 miles per day.

FAA and/or Powerplant certification



Bachelor's degree
