Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for the growth and sustainment of the organization's national sales through organic growth, new market development and input to new products development. This position is responsible for increasing TJ Machine's visibility and relationships in TJ Machine's tradition industries while focusing on expansion into new markets. Some responsibilities include:

Creation, ownership, and execution of a fluid Business Development strategy.

* Accountability, supervision, and development of the Sales team.

* Weekly generation and analysis of KPIs, including concise and definable actions and

recovery plans.

* Performance management and annual performance review with each direct report,

including manufacturer's sales reps (if applicable).

* Implementation and management of customer lifecycle. Proactively finds new ways

to build customer business, identify new opportunities, manage, and grow accounts.

Responds to and follows up on sales enquiries using appropriate methods. Maintains

and develops existing and new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical

sales methods, and relevant internal liaison to optimize quality of service, business

growth, and customer satisfaction.

* Work with estimating team to develop winning strategies on individual sales

opportunities.

* Participate in significant bid review meetings to provide insight and input on market

intelligence.

* Monitor and manage existing product margin levels to ensure the estimated cost are

in line and the existing sale pricing provides the needed profit margins.

* Manage the Company's internet presence and social media platforms.

* Travel throughout the Gulf Coast to meet with Clients and Prospective Clients to

build and maintain relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

* Minimum of 5 years sales management experience in a manufacturing industry.

* Strong employee relations, interpersonal and communication skills.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

* Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented and results-oriented environment.

* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

* Well organized and highly motivated. Must be a driver of continuous growth and

development.

* Ability to maintain and preserve strict confidentiality.

* Must be a team player that does not accept status quo.
