Senior zOS Systems Programmer

A client of Insight Globals is looking to bring on a Senior zOS Systems Programmer to their team. This candidate will be responsible for performing full installation and maintenance of zOS 2.3 or higher to the clients Mainframe. They will install 3rd Party Software products and be responsible for the maintenance and support of those products. They will be tasked with configuration of IBM Mainframe storage systems as well as troubleshooting, problem analysis, and performing disaster recovery exercises for the Mainframe. They will also be expected to maintain in-depth documentation of activities and system configurations.

5+ years of experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer

5+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, and rollout of IBM Mainframe zOS

3+ years of experience with configuration of IBM VTS and DASD systems

3+ years of experience with IBM EKMF/TKE/ICSF

Experience with Mainframe failover for Disaster Recovery i.e. GDPS/XRC/PPRC

Experience in installation of Mainframe 3rd a Party software

Experience with IBM Omegamon

Experience with Netview/System Automation
