A client in the Nashville, TN area is looking for a Vendor Management Analyst- Market Data to join their team. They are ideally looking for someone to sit in their New York office, but is able to sit in Nashville as well. This team manages around $100 million in market data spend annually, and will need this resource to be able to handle market data vendor negotiations. They will need to have exposure and familiarity with vendor usage limitations for major market data vendors, and understand how to mitigate risk of data misuse, and work with the vendor and legal teams to oversee contract terms and negotiations.
- 5+ years of market data experience/ experience working with major financial market data vendors (Nasdaq, NYSE, Bloomberg, MCSE, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience working with data vendor contracts, handling contract negotiations, etc.
- Experience working within the financial/investment industry, and or financial services firms (fixed income, asset management, hedge funds, etc.)
- Go-getter who has the ability to build relationships with business units, and be proactive in problem solving.
