Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Manager for a top automotive manufacturing client. This individual will oversee maintenance operations and lead a team of 4 maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, takes ownership of operational challenges, and is comfortable making critical decisions. Responsibilities include supervising maintenance teams, coaching leaders, monitoring safety and performance metrics, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes, and contributing to a culture where employees are valued and supported.

Day-to-Day:
• Ensure correct final preparation and maintenance of the plant infrastructure, installations and production equipment, on budget. Monitor and increase effectiveness of production equipment.
• To ensure OHSE Procedures are implemented and maintained in all Maintenance activities and promote Safe & Environment culture leading by the example their Department and acting as Safety Leader.
• Manage and report maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, impact on OEE).
• Define, coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Establish the work schedule for the Maintenance Team depending on the plant needs/resources.
• Train the team in basic maintenance of its equipment, with the aim of guaranteeing optimal production performance.
• Design, implement and follow-up on the preventive inspection programs.
• Ensure proper management of spare parts supply: monitor parts stock and usage, availability of first emergency parts, consignment stock at suppliers, minimize stocks to reduce costs.
• Implement and update technical files in all aspects in the area of responsibility.
• Control and coordinate maintenance work subcontracted to third parties

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years leading maintenance operations in a Tier 1 manufacturing environment
• Strong people-first leader with proven ability to coach, develop, and hold Line Supervisors accountable for performance and growth
• Ability to develop and implement operation protocols, metrics, training, and development.
• Experience coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Knowledgeable with safety and quality policies and procedures related to plant maintenance.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• OEM Manufacturing
• PLC knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree
