Job Description
A client in Nashville, TN is seeking a Computer Operations Specialist to join their team. This role is focused on monitoring enterprise systems, managing alerts, coordinating incident response, and ensuring operational issues reach the right support teams. The ideal candidate comes from a help desk or operations background, is highly detail-oriented, communicates well, and thrives in an environment that requires both vigilance and quick escalation during critical incidents.
Additional day to day responsibilities:
• Monitor systems and operational dashboards
• Review a high volume of system-generated emails
• Respond to alerts and incidents
• Ensure tickets are assigned and being worked by the correct support teams
• Escalate issues when response SLAs are missed
• Open tickets when required
• Contact support teams during incidents
• Assist in coordinating major incident response calls

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in Help Desk, Computer Operations, OR similar support-focused technical environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent email communication skills
• Comfortable working onsite & on a rotating schedule
• Comfortable making phone calls and escalating issues to support teams
Schedule:
8am-8pm
○ Weeks 1 & 2: Wednesday-Saturday (4 x 12-hour shifts = 48 hours)
○ Weeks 3 & 4: Thursday-Saturday (3 x 12-hour shifts = 36 hours)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• AS/400 experience
• OpCon job scheduler experience
• Experience with job scheduling tools
