Job Description

An employer is looking for a Maintenance Lead (2nd shift or 3rd shift). This individual would be managing 10-12 skilled trades people - mechanics (air, pneumatics, hydraulics) and electricians. Will run maintenance breakdowns and troubleshoot/repair equipment. Project planning and preventative maintenance over the weekend. Need to be able to help troubleshoot and hold people accountable. Will be responsible for a section within the plant. Managing breakdowns, troubleshooting, predicting breakdowns, fixing problems faster, tracking cycles between failure - typically a root cause for it, determine problem to avoid next time.

Required Skills & Experience

Associates degree or relevant years of experience being an electrician by trade, journeyman, pipefitter, machine repairman, etc.
5+ years of mechanical/electrical tradesman experience
1+ years of supervisory/managing a team of people
Experience reading and finding parts for electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
Strong communication & problem solving skills
Shift time: 2nd or 3rd shift (2-10:30 PM or 10-6:30 AM) Monday- Friday
and usually 2/4 weekends, Saturday and Sunday. (24/7 in maintenance)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical related
Robots or robotic programming
Experience with machining concepts - CNC machines, lathes, grinders, drilling & machining, etc.
