Job Description
A client of Insight Global in the technology and automation sector is seeking a WinCC Service Engineer to assist with a migration from a legacy SCADA (FactoryLink) system to a WinCC platform. This person will be responsible for leverage their technical knowledge of WinCC to serve as a dedicated resource for the migration and a key contributor analyzing legacy systems, defining the migration approach and execution conversion and validation activities.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands on with Siemens WIN CC 7.4 or higher
• Experience in applicable roles such as: application engineer, systems engineer or automation consultant
• Proven experience leading a migration
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skill
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• SQL database experience
• Hands-On FactoryLink experience
• Senior technical expertise in automation migration, modernization, or lifecycle projects
• Customer facing experience helping with technical issue
• Ability to work with legacy architectures and protocols
