Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to join their growing analytics team. This individual will sit at the intersection of data analysis and data science, focusing on applying statistical rigor to business data in order to drive actionable insights.
This is not a traditional reporting role. The ideal candidate will go beyond building dashboards and instead leverage statistical analysis, experimentation, and forecasting to validate trends, identify meaningful patterns, and guide business decisions. This person will work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related role (flex depending on degree)
Strong experience with:
- SQL
- Power BI
- Experience with at least one programming/statistical
- Python, R, or SAS
Strong foundation in statistics, including:
- Hypothesis testing
- Probability/statistics concepts
- A/B testing / experimentation
- Forecasting or clustering techniques
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field
Experience with:
- Advanced Power BI (DAX, complex modeling)
- Data wrangling and large dataset manipulation
- Data engineering concepts (ETL pipelines, data modeling)
Exposure to:
- Predictive analytics or machine learning concepts
- Cloud platforms (Azure, Fabric, Synapse)
- Experience working in a data-mature organization (large enterprise or established analytics team)
