Job Description

The CNC Operator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the CNC machining department, ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are consistently met. This individual will assist with coordinating machining activities across multiple shifts, reviewing blueprints and engineering drawings, determining machining processes, and setting up and operating CNC equipment as needed. They will troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machining issues to minimize downtime, while working closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to maintain efficient workflow. The role also involves helping train and mentor team members, monitoring tooling and material inventory, enforcing safety and quality standards, and identifying opportunities to improve machining processes, increase productivity, and reduce operational costs. Required Skills & Experience

-Highschool Diploma or GED
-1+ years of experience in CNC machining
-Strong understanding of CNC machine controls (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, etc.)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

-Strong understanding of Solidworks and/or other CAD/CAM software
-Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and shop floor management software
-Associates degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing
