Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead and oversee survey operations across multiple projects. This individual will support managing field and/or office teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who can manage teams but isn’t afraid to jump in, troubleshoot, and support the field when needed.
• Lead and manage survey field crews and/or office (CAD) teams
• Oversee project scope, schedule, and budget across multiple active projects
• Coordinate project delivery from kickoff through completion
• Supervise and allocate resources across:
• Up to 6 two-person field crews or
• Up to 12 one-person crews
• Provide hands-on support to field teams when needed (equipment issues, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Ensure all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in surveying or related industries (utilities, public infrastructure, municipal, or private projects)
• Proven project management experience overseeing field and/or CAD teams
• Strong experience managing:
• Scope
• Schedule
• Budget
Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and driving project execution
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Survey-related certifications such as:
-SIT (Surveyor in Training)
-RLS (Registered Land Surveyor)
