Job Description

A client in the Nashville, TN area is seeking a Sr. Release/Deployment Coordinator to join their team.

This individual will operate as a central coordinator across releases and deployments, supporting the expansion of a proven POS deployment model into broader retail and digital systems. On a day-to-day basis, they will drive end-to-end change and deployment readiness, ensuring that all business, technical, and product stakeholders are aligned in advance of releases. This includes validating QA completion, confirming rollback plans, coordinating communication strategies, and ensuring overall readiness for smooth production rollouts.

They will work closely with an existing deployment lead who currently owns this function for POS, and help extend that model into additional retail applications, digital tools, and device-based systems that previously lacked centralized coordination. This person will facilitate cross-functional conversations, bringing together project managers, engineering teams, product partners, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity around features, timelines, and deployment impact.

A key part of the role will be acting as a translator across teams, ensuring that both technical details and business context are clearly understood by all parties. They will also help coordinate vendor alignment and feature rollout readiness, especially for new initiatives (example: aligning stakeholders around new feature releases like same-day delivery capabilities).

Ultimately, this role is focused on making deployments seamless, predictable, and scalable, while reducing the burden on leadership and enabling the team to expand this capability across the organization. Success in this role will be driven less by deep technical expertise and more by strong communication, relationship-building, and the ability to drive alignment in complex, fast-moving environments.
