Job Description

A large oncology care company is hiring for a Sr. IT Project & Network Engineer to join a practice based in Florida. We are seeking a technically skilled and execution-focused Sr. IT Project Engineer with a strong networking background to support the delivery of IT infrastructure and integration projects across our oncology practice networks. This role is primarily focused on the design, deployment, and ongoing management of network infrastructure — including firewalls, managed switches, wireless access points, SD-WAN, redundant internet circuits, and VPN tunnels. The ideal candidate is a hands-on
network engineer who thrives in multi-site environments, can troubleshoot complex network issues, and is passionate about driving reliable connectivity across a large and growing group of oncology practices.
Lead the planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including new practice
integrations, network refreshes, and hardware deployments.
• Serve as the technical lead during new oncology practice onboarding — overseeing infrastructure readiness, on-site activities, and remote configuration work.
• Design, deploy, and configure network infrastructure, including firewalls, managed switches, and wireless access points across practice locations.
• Coordinate closely with internal technical teams, vendors, and field support resources.
• Manage ISP vendor quotes, procurement, and installation scheduling for new and existing sites.
• Implement and manage SD-WAN and VPN solutions to optimize connectivity, performance, and reliability across the practice network.
• Configure and manage redundant internet circuits, ensuring failover and high availability at all sites.
• Plan and execute network hardware refresh initiatives across a large number of OneOncology
Florida practices.
• Coordinate with ISP vendors on circuit provisioning, troubleshooting, and SLA management.
• Contribute to the improvement of deployment templates, playbooks, and technical
documentation.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of
everyone living with cancer.
