Job Description

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support large, on‑site construction projects in the Nashville, Tennessee area. This role will be focused on major ground‑up and large‑scale projects, typically ranging from $80M to $150M+ in value, and will be based full‑time on the job site.
The anchor projects in the Nashville market are outpatient healthcare facilities, including surgery centers, outpatient clinics, and medical office buildings, which are a major growth focus due to Nashville’s strong and expanding healthcare industry. In addition to healthcare, the team will also support large commercial, office, industrial, and other technically complex projects.
The first several years of this role will be dedicated to establishing and expanding the organization’s presence in the Nashville area. This position offers hands‑on exposure to high‑profile projects and is ideal for an Assistant Project Manager looking to grow on large, complex builds while working closely with Project Managers and site leadership.

Required Skills & Experience

2–4 years of experience in a construction or project engineering / assistant PM role
Experience working for a commercial General Contractor
Exposure to large projects (ideally $50M+)
Ground‑up or major construction experience (not interiors‑only)
Comfortable working on‑site five days per week
Strong organizational skills and ability to support multiple aspects of project execution

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Healthcare construction builds (hospitals, outpatient clinics medical office)
Background with firms such as Hensel Phelps, Brasfield & Gorrie, Vann, or similar
